Tectyl 894 Class I will dry to a film that is is semi-firm, amber and translucent. Approved under Military Specifications MIL-PRF-16173E, Grade 3, for Class I, and MIL-P-116J, Type P-3.

Preferred application for the Tectyl 894 Class I solvent-based, rust preventative product is dipping. This product can also be applied by brush or spray. Daubert Chemical Company recommends that the ambient and product temperature be 50 - 95°F (10 - 35°C) at time of application.
